3 Wheel Travel System: The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly
A Three-Wheel Travel System Is Slimmer and Narrower Than Other Strollers

Three-wheel travel systems are smaller and more compact than other strollers. This makes them easier to maneuver in small spaces. These types of systems are usually perfect for urban dwellers.

This luxury travel system has been designed to adapt to the needs of your family. The stroller is easily transformed into a toddler stroller, while the car seat can be easily snapped into a base to keep in your vehicle.

Maxi-Cosi Gia XP Luxe Stroller & Mico Luxe Infant Car Seat

READY FOR THE UNEXPECTED

From busy city streets to a stroll in the park, this system has you covered. It is designed to give you a smooth, comfy ride and maneuver easily with the all-terrain tires and front-wheel suspension, this stroller and car seat combination provides the features parents are looking for and then some. The Mico Luxe Infant Car Seat offers safety to your child through Side Impact Protection as well as an infant head protector and premium PureCosi fabrics. Both the car and stroller seat feature adjustable reclining positions, as well as a plush cushion made from soft knit fabric and mesh which can be washed by machine. The Gia XP has a generous storage bin and an integrated pocket for parents. It also features ClimaFlow-enabled covers that provide additional ventilation to keep baby cool.

Quickly transfer from and to CAR

The light Mico Luxe infant car seat features an ergonomic, contoured handle for a comfortable and easy carrying experience. It also comes with a one-click latch system that makes it easy to secure the seat in your vehicle. The stroller has large, visible belt guides to help position the buckle and harness correctly. The quick release feature allows the seat to be removed from the vehicle's foundation. The Mico car seat comes with a built-in harness lock to prevent sagging, and an extra-large canopy that blocks out sun and weather. 3 wheeled pushchairs out to provide even more protection. A reversible, zip-out peek-a-boo window allows you to observe your child.

Eddie Bauer Trail Hiker Stroller & Trail Hiker Car Seat

This travel system includes an infant car seat and base. It has side impact protection and an adjustable infant's head restraint. It also has an QuickClick feature that lets you attach the car seat to the stroller in one click. This is great when you have many children and shopping bags in your hands! It is also LATCH equipped.

The stroller comes with 3 locks on it with one lock on each rear wheel and a front center lock that swivels. These are great for keeping the stroller in place on rough or rocky terrain. It also has a child's tray that is large enough to hold Hayley's sippy, or Zane's large girl cup. The tray for parents has two cup holders as well as an enclosed storage compartment to keep Ipads, wallets, and other items.

Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat

The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that is multi-purpose. It can be transformed from a single stroller into a double stroller by adding a second seat (sold separately) or glider board. It can also be set up into a triple travel system by adding an infant bench seat or car seat. It has 24 configurations in all and is the highest-rated stroller. This model uses Baby Jogger's soft, breathable TENCEL fabrics, which aid in thermal regulation and are sourced sustainably. It comes with a premium leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as an abdominal bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.

It features a medium-sized shade as well as a magnetic peek-aboo window, which is easy to close or open. The telescoping bar can be one of the most easily adjustable, and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and they have a footwell adjustment knob so you can position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is large, but we wish it had an opening that was more secure. 3 wheeled pushchairs to reach, but we found the zippers somewhat frustrating as they have to be removed completely and reattached to each use.

The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame's side, lower than the handlebar. It's comfortable for barefoot and sandals and is a step up from the awkward toe-pinch brake levers that many of the competitors use.

This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that is able to accept two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or for parents with just one child and a baby on the way. It can be used with the majority of major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it on the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models as well as the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.

The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families who already have a car seat and want a stroller to accommodate it, but you may prefer a convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional infant car seat in this instance.
