Roasting

As 100% arabica coffee beans , Lazy Sunday is soft on the palate and softens into a warm hug for your senses. The cocoa sourced from Latin America is used to smooth out the brew, while Africa adds citrus notes for balance. The result is a drink that is delicious by itself, or with cake or milk chocolate. It can also be paired with lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges very well.

When making this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel using some of the boil water to ensure it is warm and ready for brew. After the brewing process, let the coffee infuse for 4 minutes. This ensures that all the grounds have been fully saturated and not over-extracted. The water must be pushed through using the plunger. Do not stir or stir your coffee as this can result in unpleasant odors appearing in the cup.

Strength - 3 is soft and easygoing, ideal for relaxing weekends.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a mellow light roast with a sweet, citrus and cocoa scent. It has a smooth and supple mouthfeel. The cocoa hints can be traced to the days of winter sitting on the sofa reading a book and a warm family hug. To brew your coffee, first heat your French Press with off boil water. This will prevent the coffee from becoming over extracted and causing undesirable elements in the drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that has just been boiled. Steep for four minutes, plunge, and enjoy.
